What's New in Lytec 2008?
Compatibility
Vista Compatibility - Lytec 2008 is now Windows Vista
compatible. Previous versions of Lytec simply did not support
the newest Microsoft operating system. Lytec 2008 has been
certified compatible with Windows Vista Business & Ultimate
Editions only (not compatible on Vista Home or Home Premium).
Lytec 2008 of course also retains compatibility with Windows XP
Professional (with SP2 or higher).

New features
Three common use fields have been added to the Patient
Information Tab
to increase efficiency. Fields previously created under the Custom Tab
were not removed.
Delete Recall Appointments
The Recall List is found under the Activities Menu by
selecting Recall List. Previously, Recall Appointments could
only be deleted from Scheduler Pro. They now can be deleted
from the Recall List by selecting the Recall and selecting "Delete".
Patient Package
Practices often have standard documents
required for all new patients. A New
Patient Package might include a Notice of Privacy Policy with a
corresponding Acknowledgement, Medical Release, Patient
Information and History form, Super Bill, etc. A "New Patient
Package" has been added to Scheduler Pro, allowing the
following:

Create customizable Report Package that can be printed by a
single request

Allows for multiple reports to printed from a patient’s
appointment

Right-click functionality added directly to the Scheduler
-
Patient Packages can consist of up to 10 custom report files
-
No filters are presented to the user, since the patient
package uses the selected appointment information to fill in
the report
Print Patient Package Reports
To open the Patient Package list, go to "Settings", "Preferences", select the
"Patient Package" tab. a Patient Package Report can be
added by selecting "Add".
Print from Scheduler Pro
Select the appointment for Patient Package to print, and
right-click to bring up the context menu for that appointment.
Left-click on Print Patient Package here. Select the printer to
print the Patient Package and click OK.

Additional Report Changes
-
Patient Notes, when changed, have been added to the Audit
Trail list. Created Date added to Waiting Claims Report.

Last Printed Date added to Pending Claims Report.

Include Filters added to the Collection Module interface

Transaction Journal and Practice Analysis have include
filters for Transaction Types .
